The Idaho Museum of Natural History is seeking a motivated, organized, detail-oriented individual to join our staff as the Life Sciences Collections Manager, with an emphasis in the Ray J Davis Herbarium. This key team member oversees the day-to-day management, preservation, and accessibility of the herbarium (ca. 80,000 specimens) and other, smaller (mammal, bird, herpetology, fish, insect) biodiversity collections. The Collections Manager reports to the Museum Director and works with the other Museum collections staff to plan and implement Division goals, priorities, and programs that promote research, teaching and public interest in the life sciences and use of the collections. The Collections Manager also develops and participates in both internal and external Museum activities and outreach events, such as public programs, fundraising efforts, and exhibit planning.

Salary will be between $51,000 – $53,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
